Hi, I'm new on this site, and I have a question regarding my Volvo S80 year 2000. The Volvo stereo that came with this car the HU-601 has a small problem. The buttons do not illuminate, LCD works fine, but no illumination on the radio unit. All the other button in the car light up ok including the A/C unit. Could there be a blown fuse or something. I’ve taken it to a few car audio specialists and they all want £100 ($180) just to look at it because it’s OEM and not after market. Any ideas to what the problem might be?

 

Burnt out light bulbs and a pain to replace.
