i hate my cd player and have no cd changer, and dont want to go to the realer to pay stupid money and have then "delete" the cd player from the ocmputer system so i could have a good deck
so question is, does the hu-611 in my 99 s80 have any type of auxiliary input for me to connect an mp3 player to ?

I got a iPod interface adapter for the HU-611. You simply disconnect the CD changer from behind the deck and plug in the interface allowing the deck to think the iPod is a changer. you can control the basic functions of the iPod from the deck. I love it! Brand name is USA SPEC, model is PA11-VOL. hers a link... http://www.discountcarstereo.com/detail.aspx?ID=726

When you refer to the cd changer, are you referring to the changer that is built into the deck? My deck has a 4 disc changer in it so would the adapter be usable with this?
I have been searching for an alternative to the plain jane music system and would love to interface my ipod on my car. Please let me know. Thanks.
I've got the 4 disc in dash cd changer as well. I installed a hard wired fm transmitter for my ipod. Installed it behind the storage box to the left of the deck. On/off switch in the box as well as the ipod connector cord. Has worked great for 4 years now.
