So today I experienced something really odd and after searching all over I couldn't find any info related to this issue. I have a 2000 S80 with around 103k miles on it. Today was around 90 degrees and I was using my AC a moderate amount. I went into my office after driving the car for about 15 miles back from a meeting. When I came back out after about half an hour the fan was going full blast in the car. Now, the key wasn't in the ignition and the car wasn't on, just the fan. After starting the car things went back to normal but then the same thing happened about an hour later. Came out, key in hand, unlocked the car to get in and the fan was going full blast. Very weird, and now I'm a little worried. I know that the engine fan will run after the car is stopped and keys are out but this was the interior HVAC system fan that was going. Should I be concerned? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
