alright to start things off i dont know much about volvos since the only kind of car i've ever owned have been japanese. I'm tired of fixing up older japanese cars so i'm thinking of a 2001 s80 T6. It checks out perfect ton carfax and looks to be in immaculate condition and only has 63000 miles on it for 13 grand. I noticed that it has a service light on when i crank up the car and the triangle is lit up and wont go away... Does anyone know what these are all about it? Also i would like to know how reliable are these cars. What size are all of the speakers in this vehicle? sorry if it seem like im bombarding everyone with tons of questions but just need a little info before the final purchase on Monday. I appreciate any help you guys and ladies can offer.

 

The S80's are hit and miss for Reliablility.
The Service light is a reminder light for an oil change.
On the end of the turn signal switch is a button. Push that and see how many messages are in the little display.
The Triangle will come on from many things. Like door open,Light bulb out, ETC

 

Tech's knowledge is excellent and I would consider his opinion very valuable.
I had a 2001 s80T6 for 68K miles and it was wonderfully reliable. I never needed anything but normal maintenance.
It was a big reason I bought another one.
