Default loss of HP?

So i replaced my tcv with an IPD HD one hoping it would help my problem, Its hard to explain but i will do my best.

I have a 01 t6 and it has its good days and bad days, I've noticed that if i romp on the car alot(maybe 4-6 accelerations on the interstate) the car will run like new but if i don't the acceleration is very poor, so poor that when i hit the pedal from a stop it feels like it takes forever to get up and go until boost kicks in but that still doesn't have that "kick" it once had.

Any ideas?

Vacuum leak if you feel like there is no power until boost. Check all other hoses for cracks and stuff.
P.S. Not accelerating and abusing the car will make it last longer as well. And it will save the tranny which might be the problem as well. :-)

@ idle my vacuum is 13 but when on the interstate its at 19 anyone have specs of where vacuum should be at?

If its a vacuum leak then why does it come and go? I don't think i'm looking at a leak here or i would even hear it.

I'm not abusing the car, simply trying to find out what is causing it and what could be a fix. My tranny is fine, shifts fine etc, don't think this is a tranny issue.

If you have vacuum, then it must be a sensor of some kind. Is there check engine lights or warnings? You said you had this problem before ipdusa tvc replacement?

1999 volvo s80 t6--I have same problem and I am trying to figure out too!! Someone please come up with a fix. We replaced Throttle positioning sensor and cleaned throttle body of gunk. Replaced vacuum hoses to turbo control valve also, replaced mass air sensor too. Cannot drive car for not knowing what he will do. He will not go over 20mph. Somedays he runs incredible and fast. All this with no check engine light or codes.
