Lound injectors or valve lash?

Lound injectors or valve lash?
So I'm assuming that this car has hydraulic lifters that self adjust... no valve lash adjustment needed right?
I never noticed it until the other day when a friend brought it up. My engine is loud at idle. Like... it honestly just sounds like loud injectors but it could be the valves. Its just ticking. Very constant, very uniform. Hot or cold.
Is it just the injectors? It doesn't really sound like valves to me. I don't know what else it could be though.
