need help with s80 rack and pinion

need help with s80 rack and pinion

just sspent 8 hrs replacing rack and it appears the tie rods are about an inch to long can anybody tell me why and is it possible to get smaller tie rods inner ones

You should be able to get different tie rods. I assume they will not adjust in far enough?

Check with the local parts store and see if there is different options for the car.
