does anybody know how to put a rack and pionion on my 2000 volvo s80 2.9 non turbo,thanks in advance

 

you have to lower the rear half of the subframe which means you need to have some means of holding the engine and trans up so they don't fall out through the bottom.

 

I think this is one of those occasions that trying to explain the process is a little too complex for explaination on here. The timing chain one is impressive, but honestly it's not something I would tackle just based on someones post.

It might be more beneficialtofind a repair guide for some step be step instructions and then if you have specific questions, post them.
