OK I have a 99 s80 2.9(my first car)
The front bumper is messed up so I want to get a new one...any ideas
I am alsohaving a problem with reception on the radio help....
I need a new air filter....Performance maybe...?
any cool stuff you can think of would be helpful

First off, what mileage is the S80 and what condition is it in mechanically? Before you deal with aesthetics you should think of the mechanical maintainance of the car.. ie. when last a tune up was done and if the timing and serpentine belt jobs have been done recently..

 

Had poor radio reception on brand new 1999 S80 2.9. Dealer replace antenna cable. No fix. Then he replaced radio. No fix.
Finally a Swedish rep from the Volvo factory solved the "known" reception problem. There was a bad ground connection
where the rear window antennae connects to the antenna cable. Pop the cover for the courtesy light above the rear
window. Tighten "all" wiring and cable connections. You will be amazed at the change. It took over a year for
this problem to be solved. The factory rep was able to solve it in five minutes!

 

It has 124K on it and i got it from my mom's friend so i don't know the condition its in...he referred me to the mechanic that he took it to so when i meet with him i'll find out more..Where is the grounding wire for the radio
