Hi

I just bought a new Cabin air filter for my 99 S80 2.9 and need some instructions on how to replace it.

 

Remove trim from passenger side section of the center console lower...

Use torx driver to remove four screws under glove compartment and remove cover...

Remove/replace filter.

Not too complicated, but you may be standing on your head.

 

google bay 13 cabin filter s80 & I think a how to comes up. It is intuitive, directions help.

having problems replacing my cabin air filter too.. But that was before.. thanks to this forums I finally know how to do it myself.

 

dealer did not supply owners guide I need to replace Cabin air filter ( says dealer ha ha) 30k miles. Were is it and can I do it myself with out paying $150 to dealer ha ha and does it really need to be done. And where can I get the filter myself?

Link to two type of pollen filters. one is thinner one is a little thicker, both will fit. Directions can also be found from that link.
