I've tried connecting several phones via bluetooth to the new S80 (2006). Sony Ericsson P910, P990, LG Chocolate, O2 Atom, Dopod 818, Dopod C80, Nokia E61. All failed to connect with the car. I understand that the system is based on Motorola IHF1000 model. Does anyone have an updated list of phones that work with the car's bluetooth kit? Would appreciate any help.

 

Ialso have a 2006 S80, with the dealer installed bluetooth kit, it is a Motorola kit. I connected out two Motorola V3 RazR and a Sony Ericson to it without difficulty.
Theyautomatically connect shortly after the car is started. I suggest starting from scratch, follow the directions carefully and the link should work.
It is possible the unit is defective, so go back to the dealer if your unsuccessful.

Going to sound stupid but have you paired the phone and the kit in the car? that would cause them not to connect, the phone should not really matter as bluetooth is ment to be a standard accross all phones. Having said that I have heard that Nokia phones and kits can be tempremental.
