Default No oil pressure message and rpm drops.

I've read some of the posts and they sound like my problem, but there's a couple of other things happening. The oil pressure message comes on when I turn the wheel and I'm not accelerating, also when I'm at a stop with my foot on the brake or in park. I notice that the rpm drops down and the message comes on. I also feel the engine trembles a little when this happens. All this happens when I am not accelerating, the car feels great when it drives. I've read about the O rings but I'm wondering if that would make the engine tremble, also if it's just that, what kind of exspenses should I expect.

Thanks

Have you had the New ETM software recall done yet?

I haven't heard of that recall. Is that something that can cause this? I'll look into that.

If the Idle drops to low it could make it come on.

Also the oil Pan -rings could be going bad.

Have you had regular oil changes? If your engine is sludging due to a lack of oil changes you could see an oil pressure warning light, an easy way to tell is by removing the oil filler cap to see if the are any stalagtite formations on the inside of the cap. Also check to see if your oil level is proper. You could have an oil leak somewhere.
