no oil pressure! Plz Help!
I have an '01 S80 T6. it flooded / stalled out in a deep water yesterday and after restarting had no oil pressure. how do i find the problem? Is the oil pump belt driven? Electrical? Is it even possible that deep water could knock out the oil pump? What is the oil flow diagram for the engine? Could a siezed turbo be blocking oil flow? is that possible? any advice / ideas would be amazing help.
p.s. it is confirmed no oil pressure, not just a light. Oil is at proper level and no water can be seen on the dipstick.

IF you can get it running again, does it sound like a coffee can full of nuts&bolts rattling around? If YES, then you have no OP. IF NO then most likely you do.
Assuming that your do, check the oil sending unit. Since you douched the engine you might have gotten the sending unit wet and fried it. I'm not sure about your model, but most oil pumps are internal (usually in the oil pan) and gear driven - pretty rare they just up and quit. Since water is involved then I'd try and R&R the sending unit.
