Hey forum. Does anyone have a solution to a no start on crank.
Here's what happen.
First my alarm started bugging out. Took it ot the dealer. they change the siren/horn/level sensor alarm (scm). They said that was the no start/crank problem. Not it. I take it back this time they say it's the starter. Not it.They say the new starter was bad. They put in another one. Same problem. no start/crank. Take it back again. This time they say they chang the safty nutral switch. I still get the no start on crank. what could it be.

 

Do you have a message in the window when it won't start?
Sounds like an Immoblizer problem.

 

Hey tech. Good to here from you again. No immobilelizer. And the volvo dealer is having a hard time with the car.

 

If the car turns over but won't start sounds like something in the immoblizer or fuel system.

But unless I am getting it wrong and the car doesn't even turn over at all.
But maybe I got it wrong because if they replaced the starter and PNP switch that would mean it wouldn't even crank over at all.

 

I took the car back today. I'll let you know what happens. Oh, as far as starting no sound.

 

Check the small green starter wire at the back of the starter solenoid, check for looseness. How about the big red cables to the starter, how do they look? No crank can be aimmoblizer, but w/o message it is not very likely.
