Hi everyone,

Im a noob with a 2000 S80 T6. I am new to driving a Volvo I come from driving Lexus, Mercedes, and Honda so this is totally different. Here is a little background on my car. Its a white 2000 T6 with 103,000 miles, I paid $800 for it. I have a friend that owns a dealership he took it in on trade from someone saying it had electrical problems. Turned out to be corroded battery cables. It was running fine till last week when they hit a stump on a test drive and busted the radiator. I will have to get the radiator replaced at an indy shop in the area and i was planning on doing the timing belt and the PCV system while they had the car down. Can someone give me some suggestions on what all to make sure they replace on the car when doing the timing belt? Thanks in advance for any replies

 

Wow...32 views and no one has ever had their timing belt changed on their S80

 

Hi and Welcome to the forum. I moved your post to the S80 section so you can get some help with your issue.

I usually replace the rollers. Some do the water pump but I do not unless it is leaking.

BTW, I never check the new members section. Sorry.
