"P" displayed and alarm when stopped at light

2010 S80 "P" displayed and alarm when stopped at light
Just purchased a 2010 Volvo S 80. Haven't received the owners manual. When braking at a stoplight, a large "P" appears on the display and an alarm sounds. Does anyone know how to deactivate this alarm? I've been searching the web and haven't come up with the fix.
