P0011
Hello Gurus,
I try to make my problem description short since P0011 is been discussed many times on this forum and others. I will also add solution i have done so far without any luck
As per many forums, following are the main culprits
Incorrect camshaft timing
Though the code is before timing belt change but since it was due, so I though new timing belt and parts will help...but same code back, as per mechanic, timings are correct.
Wiring problems (harness/wiring) in intake timing control valve control solenoid system
Already checked, No issues with wiring
Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber
I have no how idea to check it and have not checked so far, any advises???
Failed timing valve control solenoid (stuck open)
Might be, therefore I tried a new solenoid which worked good for a short time and now the code is back again.
Already check CAM Shaft position sensor, its working fine.
Replace oil and filter and my engine is clean from inside so far i can say.
So I have only one option left to check
what is "Continuous oil flow to VCT piston chamber"
P.S car is running super fine with this code over many months.
Will appreciate if any can come up with a possible solution.
Thanks

You were very right, my car failed two times emission test and seems i have to replace VVT Hub, my car gives good amount of smoke, does it solve the problem? i am doubtful as there no where on internet i red that P0011 leads to heavy smoke. at normal idle no smoke...but on a high rev ...good amount of smoke. please advise.
