Please help! Trans & brake problems!!!!!
Hello all! I'm new to this so please help me out. I bought my s80 2 years ago from a local used highend auto dealer. About 1 week after buying the car the car started slipping out of gear and by the time I got it back to the dealer it was slipping so bad it would bearly go anywhere. I left it with them and they called be back to pick it up saying it just needed to have the trans conditioned. No I know a little bout cars and work on them ofter but I dont know anything at all about trans. So it worked and I didnt see any problems until about 1 year ago when it started again but this time very little slipping. I bought an extended warrenty with the car so I took it to the dealer to see what they had to say. They told me the trans computer needed "upgraded software" and my extended warrenty didnt cover that, so $200 later. The problem was then solved until now. Now the trans is starting to slip a little again. What should I do? Should I drain the fluid and replace the filter? What is trans conditioner? I'm at a loss.
I also have another problem. From loooking at rotor replacement diagrams online I've found there is supposed to be a disc retention bolt on my vehicle. Well there arent any on either side of my front rotors. Could they be broke off and if they are how do I get my rotors off? I will be adding pics asap.

1. You can try changing the fluid and filter it might by you some time. Those tranny's are known to go bad.(That's GM for you)
2. Someone might have left the screws off. That's not really a big deal. The rotors should just fall off.

The rotors on my 2000 stick to the hubs really bad. I have to spray seafoam into the small holes between the stud holes and let it soak a while. Then tap tap tap with a ball peen hammer to get them to release. I live in Montana and in the winter they use calcium chloride on the roads which is horrible for corosion.
