I bought my lovely S80 after I decided to give up horse back riding. Now, not only do I have a horse, but I need to pick up hay and other supplies for the horse. Is it too much of a stretch to install a trailer hitch on my S80, so I can pull a small utility trailer with hay? I realize S80 and towing is a bit of an oxymoron, but life takes us down unexpected roads. Also, if you were wondering, the S80 can carry two bales of hay: one bale of hay into the trunk and another into the backseat, but it is not a good idea. I suspect I may need to buy a truck. Any thoughts? I have a 2012 S80.

 

Just limit yourself to what the owner's manual says. It's a big heavy car, so a little utility trailer would be fine behind it, but again, I am not trying to speak ahead of the owner's manual.
