so im new to this form and am looking into maybe getting an 07-10 s80 awd with a v8. i just want to know about problems if any that this car has. really just major stuff like any motor, trany, or elec. stuff. i would realy aritiate any and all honist opinians about this model. thank you all.

 

Skip the 2007's - first year for new design, has more problems.

 

Like Grease- I am new to this forum and had the same question,I am begining to wonder if anyone purchased one of these beasts.I am/was considering an 07 with low miles,but starting to think otherwise,looks like not much help here. Sky

 

Bought my '08 V8 w/Sport pkg this past July w/ 8,300 miles. Now @ 15K mi; it's been a great car w/no issues. Can't beat the value and the growl of the 4.4 Yamaha V8. At 1/2 off MSRP, mine was a dealer svc loaner and I think a great deal. Depreciation will hit these cars hard, but I think the V8's will hold their value a bit better. Good luck - Alex
