Long story short, I need to replace one shock and one strut on my car (the other two were replaced by Volvo dealer). Because of the distance to the dealership that replaced them before and cost, I would like to have my mechanic do it. What brand of shocks and struts Volvo dealer uses? I called them and they told me that they use original Volvo parts. So I checked FCP Groton and they have OEM (Sachs) and KYB. Does that mean that Volvo would use Sachs?
