Question Quick Question

Got a 2002 S80 it's been running great up until a few days ago. Now its riding really hard and sputtering. Changed all the plugs and it still doing it. Think it's the coils but not really sure. Hasn't stalled or anything. Once it hits third gear runs ok sputters not as noticeable. Any ideas on what it could be?

this looks to be a very common problem with what others have (thats what i have read) . i say your 1st bet is to search this forum and/or google to see what other owners have said and the solution.

Have you had any codes/check engine lights? If not it could be the ETM, for some reason volvos s80 had a lot of problems with that. Have you stalled out?

If you have an obd II sensor find out what codes that are popping up. Any code that has come up should still be on the computer. Have you tested your coil packs to see if any are bad?
