radiator fan does not start after long trip

My 2000 S80's radiator fan runs for 5 to 10 minutes after shutting the engine off after a long trip, but my 2002 S80's fan does not run after shutting the engine off after driving for one hour. The temperature guage stays in the middle. I just bought this car. Thanks

That might be normal. If the car is still within temp specs of not needing it then it will not be on. It may run while you are driving it keeping it cooler. Also if the A/C is on it will be running non stop while the car is running.
