Default Radiator Issue

I have a 2000 S80 T6 with 147000. The other day I was driving and was preparing to pull into my driveway when the temp guage quit working and just seconds after that my radiator sprung a rather large leak/crack on the passsenger side. Its coolant and now it also looks like ATF is also leaking out of the radiator crack. I have had no issues with temp or tranny. What could have caused this and what should I expect to replace before I tie into the project? I also notice when I turn my key on the cooling fan comes on and stays on for a minute or two after I turn the key back off. Should I put a new radiator, water pump, and thermostat in it?
