Check the sway bar link first. If that is good the shock might be bad.

will my sway bar link look like this if its bad?

http://www.wikihow.com/Change-a-Sway-Bar-Link

and just recently about 5 months ago they replaced a front o2 sensor, and the CEL light is on same issue p1152 which I see on here is the o2 sensor. Now from what I hear, That the catalytic converter must be undone to access the o2 sensor? Im assuming there is a clamp with screws holding it in, and as soon as thats undone then I will have access to the o2 sensor?

Do I need a special jack for doing this or is the one supplied with the car good enough?

Is there a special tool I need to do this job?

Your sway bar links are different than them.
You will need to jack the entire front end up and drop the exhaust to get to the o2 sensor.

You will also need a o2 sensor socket.

It is just called a floor jack.
It would benice for you to get jackstands as well. This way after it is jacked up you can put the stands under there to make sure the car stays put.

Yes that jack and jackstands will work perfect.

For the O2 socket try to find one like this.

I don't think so unless they are totally screwing up the info.
They do not specify if it is a front or rear. Also they have the motor type listing the S40 motor.

I would check the front sway bar links as well.
I would fix those noises first and see from there.

What do you think of this jack stand compared to the other one? I rather get it all from one site or company,

I didnt realize it but sears offers o2 sensors as well:

Think thats a fair price for everything including the socket you showed me?

The O2 sensor is not that bad on price.
Not sure how much I would trust the jack though.
It seems a little small compared to the other one.
