Default S 80 Lower control arms

Have a 2001 S80 2.9 that needs lower control arm bushings Was told by several people have to replace the whole control arm Volvo dealer says I can replace just the bushings Do they have to be pressed on ? Has anyone done this job and can give me any help or suggestions on how to go about it. I have a Ford mech who is going to help with this but he does not have a press if they have to be pressed on

They can be swapped but in my opinoion I would just replace the entire arm.
It is alot easier to just replace the arm.

The front ones have to be pressed in a certain amount.
I have seen people destroy the arm trying to replace them.

Maybe it is the brake pads shifting in the caliper bracket.
Also see if it does it in reverse once then again when you hit them going foward.
