have a 2001 S 80 2.9 non turbo My wife said she head a bang check engine light came on and car skipping bad Mechanic said misfire in #3 cyl and need a coil pack that goes on top of plug With hood up standing in front of car reading left to right which is #3 Cyl and discount auto parts has one for 69.00 is it ok to use this or should I get a Volvo one? Also would like to change the plugs. What kind should I get ? THANKS

 

Buy a Volvo coil.
Bosch platinums or Volvo plugs.
#1 is on your left side looking at the engine from the front of the car.
#5 is on your right side.
