hi just joined as brought a s80 diesel saloon, today for 900 quid on ebay, know its cheap but good condition apart from engine, i was driving it home and drove well apart from lack of power, seller said not producing full turbo boost which was prob turbo boost sensor, still drives well but no turbo 'sense of urgency'. also drove 40 miles home and on way catalitic light and red triangle came on.

mate said poss turbo gone and smoke from this has blocked cat, could this be the case ??

said you can get exchange cat for upto 300quid and secong hand turbos on ebay for approx 150
