S80 Front Position lights

S80 Front Position lights

I have a 2008 S80 T6. I am getting a msg on the cluster stating bad position lamp. I have replaced the bulb abd the directional works, any ideas as to why the marker is out but the directional works?

Check the rear position lights. One of the 4 back there might be burnt out
