Hi
Ive recently bought a 2005 S80 and i have an issue with the headlight full beam not working ---- and no, this isnt the usual problem !! I have the lights on 'full on'
I have no flash or high beam, the bulbs look ok.
I suspected fuses or relays but I cant seem to find them to check - any suggestions ?
I have removed the stalk to see if there were any visible signs of damage and there doesnt seem to be.
If anyone can shed any 'light' on this it would be very greatfully received.

fuses are in the panel under the steering wheel (22/23). Check connections/sockets, relays.

Checked everything i can see and all looks good - Im just trying to avoid main dealer costs but it looks like that may be where im heading

 

possible causes are 1) stalk switch 2) relays 3) connector into each bulb. did you also try swapping out the bulbs? I've had bulbs be bad that looked ok to the naked eye...

 

Hi Same problem 2007 S80 D5. I know it’s a while ago you posted but could be useful to someone else. Things I done.

Checked fuses
Turned light switch to Headlights
Replaced indicator stock
Noticed fog lights were not working either.
Noticed light switch not lighting up

Replaced Light switch. Bingo sorted it. Hope this helps someone
