I was driving my 2000 S80 in the freeway and accelerated it to catch up to traffic and the car motor turned off and all the lights went off. I then turned the car back on and once the went below 1 RPM the car would shut up. The car is automatic also to keep her on i need to have the car accelerated so it won't turn off. If anyone understands what has occured with my car please help me I would really appreciate it.

 

You need to have the codes pulled to see where to look.

 

Sorry I took so long to respond my internet line wasnt work for the pass couple days. but the code that pops up is PO102.

 

Isnt that the MAF sensor? Maybe a vac leak if everything shut off and it died. I know the other day, my car died after being in traffic. I pulled over and the turbo charge pipe (the top v shape plastic pipe) wasnt connected all the way. Fixed in 30 seconds.

 

unfortunatly i check all the tubing and it didnt work.

 

The Mass Flow sensor might be bad.
