S80 Metal strip in drain track of sunroof, where does it go?
Had my first leak in my 2000 s80 sunroof, I shot compressed air down the drains, and when I look in the drain track there was this piece of metal sitting in there, any idea where it goes? Or if it's vital (In other words can I just take it out and leave it out, with no added leak risk), or how do I remount it? ? Thanks
pic shows metal piece sitting on roof in front of drain track.
Maybe someone can post a pic showing where and how to mount it properly.
Thanks

I found the answer to where the metal strip goes
I hope this helps someone who may also find this bar in their exterior drain area, it is actually an interior part that goes on the underside of the sunroof glass see The explanation below along with a pic.
Here's a pic of underside front edge of sunroof ( The little piece that looks like Velcro is part of the original gluing system used to hold the metal bar on the bottom of the sunroof ). The pic shows me holding the metal piece, if you look at the rust spot on the bottom of that piece you can see where it might line up with the Velcro looking spot on bottom of sunroof ( notice the headrest for orientation of front of sunroof).
