Talking S80 sunroof adjustment

I have adjusted sunroofs on 850's and S70's of ours before, but looking at our '01 S80, it appears that the mechanism is a bit different. Does anyone have any idea if they even CAN be adjusted? Ours is not leaking, but when you close the doors with the windows up, the air pressure makes the sunroof "jump" just a bit. It also seems to have a little bit of wind noise when driving at highway speeds.

Thanks for your advice!!

Yes they can be adjusted. Once tilted up you need to pull the plastic piece from the glass to inside the car. But be careful because they always break apart. Once the plastic part is away you will see the screws.

I removed the sunroof to replace the gluides on the sun screen. I used black window silicone to glue the edges together after the plastic accordian ripped. Worked great.

The sunroof on my '01 2.9L jumps too when i close the doors. I've remove the sunroof, inspected and put a lot of torque on the four torqx screws with no success of eliminating the jump when doors are closed.

Did the metal support bars on the front and back of the glass fall off?

I have not seen any glue able to hold them back on.

I've had mixed results with an epoxy formulation for glass - metal combinations. Bought the stuff at Home Depot. The expoxy seems to hold for about 9 months and then begins to loose its holding power.

In addition to my other post, I went out and used your suggestions. Loosen up the torx screws, lift up on the glass and tighten them up. Worked great to seal mine. Now if I can just get the window to move, I'll be happy (ier). Checked fuses.

My sunroof seems to be falling down (inwards) at the back of the roof opening. Will these screw allow for this to be adjusted? after the adjustment should I run the SRM calibrating??
