S80 sunroof repair gone horribly wrong
Hi All,
Recently the sunroof on my 99 S80 shattered and decided to repair it myself as the dealer costs were a bit insane.
I did my best to clean out the guides and remove all the broken glass I could find - fitting it was actually pretty easy. Unfortunately, when I went to close it (from the ventilation position), I hit the button one more time to check that the guides were clear. Obviously I didn't get all the glass removed because it hit an obstruction and just stopped. The motor is still working, but it only tries to continue retracting - it does nothing when I try to close it.
We are due for a big snow soon - any idea how I can manually close it? I checked the area by the review mirror where the motor is located, but I didn't see anything other than screws to fit the motor.
Thanks...!
