ok, I am just looking to make my car work and not throw any codes etc...
I have full capability/tools of swapping transmissions easily...
The part I need help with is... what transmissions can I swap into my car? which ones will fit and work properly?

obviously, a t6 s80 transmission, but what else?
after a bit of research, im thinking a GM 4t65e-hd would be a good option.

how long would a regular gm4t65e last in my car without slipping?

i have a 2001 t6 s80 automatic transmission that can shift gears manually if wanted.

 

Last week I got my car's (1999 s80 2.9) tranny change and according to the mechanic he putted 2003 S80 Gear...I wonder if he is really speaking a truth ...so I know that transmissions are designed to the specific model with a part number.

So in my opinion try to find the similar tyranny.
