I have a 99 S80 that trans died in. Found a good deal on a low mileage 03 s80 trans. Car drove with no funky noises but had been hit in rear end so trans still worked great. Swapped it in to my car and I'm getting an error for "line pressure control solenoid". Is there programming necessary when changing transmissions? I have vida and just ordered an MVCI that is supposed to be compatible. Is there something I can do or will it need volvo to download or reset something.

 

early 4t65e trans has the large pressure control solenoid made by holly,03 and up has the small can pressure control solenoid made by bosch,different resistence that the computer pics up and sets code ,always check with a wrecking yard for interchange
