i was wondering how to turn off the service light the car is all kept up on maintenance but the light wont go off. any tips much appreciated.

 

turn the key to the I position,
press and hold the trip reset pin thats right in the dash,
turn the key to the II position while holding the previous button,
wait until the service light flashes several times and let the button go

did it work ? i think i heard someone say its works only on 199-2001, there is a similar procedure for 2002+
