Alright, I want to put all the BS advice and stories of how to reset your SRS fault.

I have 2002S80, I tried all the BS methods to clear, let me just say... they don't work, don't waste your time.

I bought a Icarsoft i906 on amazon for 113$.
Plane and simpel...it works.

Follow instructions and it works. key is you HAVE to clear the CEM 1st and then clear SRS!! it is amazing, with this one reset, I just paid for it.

This is a Volvo and SAAB specific reader.

 

I also have the same scan tool and it's been the best thing I spent money on. Also saves me time from going to the mechanic or the auto parts store.

There is no way to reset the SRS light without access to the software that you need to do same. You're correct that all of the other methods are BS.

It is nice to see that the cost of these tools are coming down. I've always used Snap On which is quite expensive.
