Tech, I would like to clean the throttle bodyon my S80, there's no problems but I've read a lot of incidents where owners have problems due to build up. Can you guide me through the process? Also, thank you for the help on replacing my serpentine belt. With your help I've actually saved about 1500 in repairs.

 

I forget is it turbo or non-turbo?

 

Non turbo

 

Buy a throttle body gasket first.

Then remove the hose going to the throttle body.Next unscrew the throttle body and remove.
You might have to remove the bracket on the back of the starter.It will be 2 10mm nuts and 1 12mm screw.That will allow the wiring to come out from the starter.

Then clean with Carb cleaner.
