Also they told me they will try there best to explain to my warranty company that something in that area is wrong so that they can some how file it in my warranty company. I dont think there is anything wrong lol but I will keep my fingers crossed lol...

so i got the idler/pulley/tensioners with the timing belt and oil change for a whopping 812$. no water pump, as they were asking another 500$ for that, I'd rather take my chances since i have a warranty for anothe 13k miles.
I am just a little upset that they did this job, then after the job they tell me that I need a new Right front axel and a abs module which will amount to 3000$. I was involved in a front end accident - minor damage to the car - but seemed to damage the axel and the abs module which got pulled out of the place from where it normally sits.

ABS Mod
Hi:
Saw your post on the dealer recommended ABS mod. It's a pure lie. The mod comes off with 4 5mm nuts is 5 minutes. You can send it in to rebuild it, just look on the net, I sent mine to a guy in Mass., and just drive the car while it is being rebuilt.
It hard to get to and you have to bend your hands all over the place and take out the nuts, or bolt heads blind, but it's not that hard. Rebuild is less that 80.00. My wife's dealer did the same thing to her. Fortunately I get to it first.

thanks for the input, somewhere along the lines I think the information got misconstrued btwn the advisor and mechanic there (This was at the delearship and I Guess I will give them the benefit of the doubt). I ended up taking it somewhere else (Volvo Saab In Billerica) - Great people ther. turned out to be a wheel sensor - and he changed out a boot and some kit on the axel.... For about 800$. All and all im happy with ther work.
