I thought in U.S. T6 governed @ 130, but without governor (Euro ed) will do about 155 ? Guess I'll have to find out for myself...or anyone know how to disable governor? Thanks.

i've done 130 and it didn't cut ou that point. The governor is within the computer. It will either shut fuel or shut spark off at a pre-set speed.

I hope you guys have speed rated tyres on those s80s as I truly doubt that the original tyres are still installed. IE: you had better have at least V rated tyres if you are traveling 130 MPH or so. On the same subject, you you truly believe that the stock brakes are going to scrub off speed when you are traveling that speed??

I doubt they are speed rated for that high, and normally, people go that fast when there are no cars on the highway, IE: on the highway late at night..

even if a tire isn't speed rated, for example a H rating, doesn't mean it can't hit a high speed for a small duration in time. The speed rating is adversely effected by time and heat which build pressure on the tire due to rate of expansion and friction.

Also you really shouldn't be doing anything such as driving 130 on a freeway, it is very easy to mis-calculate angle of drive at higher speeds. For example, hitting a bump that makes your hand jerk the wheel, will cause a big change in direction the car will travel then if you hit it at say 70. You will have less time therefor to redirect during a mishap. Pick a very rural road you are very familiar with. Here in norcal, I have discovered such roads and become good friends with the residents and let them know if I will be riding my motorcycle or doing anything like testing a car out on the road adjacent to their home. Safety first.

In every forum I visit, whether its Volvo, BMW, or motorcycles, someone will mention doing speeds that are way over the speed limit. Then you have the few guys that go "you shouldn't be doing that speed on public roads." They are right. Sure doing those speeds are stupid, unsafe, and immature...but as long as they make cars/bikes with globs of horsepower, there will be those that test that power. So....to answer your question...mine did over 130mph when i got on it. She floats nicely...and was able to avoid bumps here in Norcal! I do not encourage those who break the law. It really does take just a minor slip up to f up your life or someone elses. Please drive responsibly.
