Hi,

I have a 2007 S80 and I prefer the look of the newer rear Volvo emblem that is spaced out "V O L V O" instead of my 2007 "VOLVO" emblem. Has anyone done this already and if so, any advice on removal/install and where to buy the latest rear Volvo emblem? Thanks so much.

 

Personally I think the spaced out emblem is tres gauche but if I were in the market for such a thing I would check Ebay first.

To remove the old one you'll need a heat gun or a hair dryer to warm up the adhesive so you can get it off. I don't know what kind of adhesive you would need to apply the new one, perhaps google does.

 

i recently took off my volvo emblem on the back and was going to space it. use a ruler, and find some high grade professional adhesive. i ended up just putting my volvo letters right over the s80, two or three weeks and they're sticking strong lol.

 

go to the dealer and buy the new emblem - like 15 bucks and they are prespaced. All you have to do is stick the whole thing on.

Super easy.

 

$15 from the stealer? That seems really low to me. I will have to check that out, I would also like to do the same.

 

Great thanks guys, I appreciate the info. I'll get the emblem when I take my car in to install the lowering kit. I'll see what they quote me to put the emblem on and let you guys know if it's outrageous or not in price.

Yeah XC90AWD...how much was the emblem and did you install it or did the dealership? If so how much total? Thanks!
