Hi There,

I have a 2012 S80 with about 60,000 miles.
Thinking about upgrading to S90 except that the motor on the S90 is a four cylinder 2L, much smaller than the six cylinder 3.2L on the S80.

Any thoughts?

Nope.

 

The leap from those two car will be quantum. Volvo redesigned just about everything there is with the S90. So familiar creature comforts will have long disappeared. The S90 is Volvo's flagship top of the line designed to compete eith the Germans, Brits and Japanes (Koren). Engine displacement is a small factor and yet the S90 generates more with their turbo set.
