First time Volvo owner here. I have a 2008 S80. I plugged my iPhone 6 into the USB wire and the dash is saying it is unreadable. Is there a fix for this?

 

Same thing happened to me today with my 2009 v70. Looking forward to hearing!

 

Same with my V70/2009. First it seemed that the contact wasn't good, pulling and replacing the cable resolved the problem. Sometimes I even needed to restart the car, but the last event was different. Replugging didn't change anything.
Now I suspect, that some wires may be loose inside the plug ...

Any experience how to resolve this? Soldering?
