Default vacuum leak

Hi, gang..have a 2000 S80 with 231,000 miles....started to drive yesterday and immediately noticed low speed stuttering, finally stalling a ton of times...restarted just fine, but problem repeated often but ..took to big Sears place with good rep, guy called me today frustrated: said obdII said a major vacuum leak, but they couldn't find it-did smoke test, etc., but couldn't go any further. Any thoughts? Love this car and want to hit 300,000 but can't spend a fortune on it. Any help or thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

All right I had something similar to this when I changed out my coil packs. It was a loss Vacuum leak caused my the main vacuum line that connected to my turbo intake. It is the one just behind the radiator and runs in front of the engine. I had just forgot to connect it and it was causing the turbo blow offs to not open and let out the pressure. I know I was the dumb one for the day. Try and see if you are throwing any codes. Might help you trouble shoot the problem. Good luck man!!
