my 99 volvo s80 cranks runs for a while then it shuts off when i try to crank it again it shuts back off i can keep it running if i keep my foot on the accelerator sometimes it still stalls out i changed air filter and spark plugs still same problem i listened to my fuel pump when i switch the car on it sounds like its pumping gas back into the tank like a squirting sound like its a leak in the tank someone please help asap

 

You shouldn't hear that type of noise coming from the fuel pump area. You may have found your problem but I don't know for sure.
