Default Warranty and service

When I bought my 2005 S80, used, a couple years ago I was told scheduled service was 100 percent covered....all the way down to oil changes. Well I brought mine in for 37k service and they charged me 300 bucks for it. What's up with that?

Also....how do I know exactly when my factory warranty is about to expire?

Do you have any Documents from the Dealer showing exactly what is covered and what is not..with the VIN # of your car on the Documents and an expiration date.

If it is just your word against their's..you may have a great hassal ahead of you..Good Luck

from what i know if its second hand for the original warranty terms (im assuming the original buyer got an extended warranty and thats how they got the free service) you would need the original bill of sale where it specifically states what the terms are

my mom bought that extended warranty with her camry and she got all that service free, they offered it for my dads camry too, but he declined

Thanks for the advice. I'll find out from the dealer we bought it from...

I just recall the famous words the selling dealer told me.....that all scheduled service was covered under the factory warranty. Now I move to SoCal, and the dealer down here tells me "oh, that's only good for 3 times and that's it." Something doesn't seem right.
