Hey all long time no talk, hope things have been going well for everyone. Anyhoo cut to the chase recently I've been noticing my traction in the snow/ice has been a bit lower than it used to be (i.e. not as good). I had just gotten new tires earlier last winter, and the treads themselves don't appear to be that worn yet (they could use a rotation, but I don't think they're that worn yet). Anyhoo so far I've been fortunate (with some help from above thank u) but in the meantime I've been debating if I need to go for another pair of winter tires.

Soo.....those of u still with ur S80's, which brand of tires do u prefer? I have an N/A (2.9L), front wheel drive. 109K miles, but I've been good about changing oil every 3K and the air filter, and I use either plus or premium gas.

 

For my 2000 I'm on my second set of Bridgestone Blizzack studless WS60's and absolutely love them. I'll never go back to studded tires again. Bought the same tire for my wife's Camry Hybrid and my new 2007 S80.
