My 99 S80 2.9 has 201K miles and counting most which are highway miles. Im wondering if I have the one with the most miles in this forum. Anyone have higher then me.

 

I am almost at 220.000 KM , im not sure what that is in miles

 

188k on my 2000. 42k on my 2007

 

I have 241,000 on my 2001 S80 T6

UPDATE

On Nov 15, my transmission let go, with 243,600 miles.

 

Does it have the original transmission or was it replaced. I had to replace mine at 114k on my 99.

 

What exactly fails in these GM transmissions that require replacement? Did you not flush it and maintain it or does that not even matter?

 

2000 S80 T6 - 156,000 miles - I got it with 50,000

 

Have replaced a few ignition coils and that is it.....running 400,000 miles, all highway miles. Starting to show signs of death though, latest was "no oil pressure" and still trying to figure it out. Oil is full and if I remove the oil cap I can see oil so I don't believe it to be a big issue. Still running it down the road.

 

Should have included 2000 with twin turbos

 

How many transmissions have you gone through? 400K that's amazing

update August 17, 2015 my 2.8L T6 expired with 360,797 miles....................

 

Since we're keeping alive a 4+ year old thread....
210kmi in my 99 S80. Original engine & transmission. Just did trans filter & fluid change. Still going strong. (knocking on wood )
