so I need to replace the driverside window regulater, any info on the ins and outs of this

just got word my passenger side needs this...
I've had the car 1 week..so this came as a depressing bit of news..
I hope someone chimes in so maybe I can decide whether to tackle this or not.

I did some research on here on the web, looks ok to do, the parts cost me 102 off amazon.
I will let u know, gonna try and do today if it don't rain

btw,
1) I have a 2005 S80 T6 twin turbo. Was wondering what you have?
2) I've read that there are 4 rivets that can be problematic when it comes to re-riveting back in, because the space required doesn't let you use the "standard" rivet gun, but you have to have one of those bellows-looking guns that can do steel rivets...
Anywhoo, lookin fwd to how you get along..

I had a quote for $420 yesterday to replace the passenger side regulator.

well I did fix the window, I ended up not needing to replace the regulator I bought, I will send back to amazon. I did replace the blue clips however, works great!!
here are some pics.
I did drill out the speaker and the one bracket in the middle of the hole, I used sheet metal self tapping screws to reattach, just moved it off the rivet holes.

aww was hoping for a regulator replacement!
though I haven't seen mine, the guy said it's twisted up like a pretzel..
glad you fixed it for so cheap though
